From the Alps to the Mediterranean Sea
TURIN, LANGHE, MONACO AND NICE
1ST DAY – TURIN, CAPITAL OF PIEDMONT
Arrival in Turin, visit the city with entries to the Egyptian Museum, the second in the world, visit to the Royal Castle. Do not miss out on a mini-cruise on the River Po to understand why Turin is called “The little Paris”.
Aperitif in a historic cafe, characteristic Piedmontese dinner.
2nd day – turin and its artistic treasures
Continuation of city visit and its museums: Cinema museum, Stupinigi or Venaria Castle.
Transfer to the Langhe wine hills. Accommodation and dinner in the restaurant of a 17th century monastery.
3rd day – the langhe: ITS wines, the mountains of the maritime alps
Excursion in the Langa, with break at a wine cellar where we will enjoy a tasting session with Piedmontese wines.
Guided visit of Mondovì, a medieval city located between the Langhe and the Alps. It is home to the Italian aerostatic port of Hot-air balloons. Visit to the Sanctuary of Vicoforte with the world’s largest elliptical dome.
Stop off at the chocolate museum and enjoy a guided tasting session of the product. Stop off at Mondovicino Outlet Village: a world inside a world, a village with more than 85 shops in one of the largest Retail Parks in Italy. The visit includes a shopping voucher worth 100.00 euro to use as you wish during the day.
Dinner based on fine local cuisine.
4th day – cuneo, monaco, nice
Free transfer to Cuneo, capital of the province. Departure with the “TRAIN OF WONDERS”. It is not easy to find a railway line which brings together many stimuli making the journey exciting. Among mountains, gullies and rivers you will discover the mountainous hinterland of Nice and Provence.
Arrival in Nice. The city can be considered the capital of the Cote d’Azur. The meeting between the 2 Italian and French cultures makes this fourth city of France one of the most fascinating and lively. Accommodation in a centrally located hotel. Day to stroll along the great Promenade des Anglais, visit the old Nice with its coloured houses, immerse yourself in the international ambience and admire the turquoise colour of the coast.

5th day - nice
Nice is the city with the largest number of galleries and museums in France, so it is worth stopping off to see the most characteristic and best known. Chagal museum, Asian Arts Museum, Modern Arts Museum, Matisse Museum and many more. Nice is also a shopping city and the large shopping centres and Boulevard Medecin are sure to satisfy your curiosity.
6TH DAY – MONACO EZE
There is always time to reach Monaco as it is only 20 minutes away by train. This tiny state known the world over as the capital of luxury and gambling conceals treasures to discover. The Royal Grimaldi palace, the Casinò, the Bell’Epoque masterpiece of the Hotel Hermitage.
Stop off at Eze. This small village in Provence is home to the second factory of the well-known perfumery Fragonard. Visit it to discover the processes that create the perfumes. Return to Nice.
